FUN IN THE SUN! Sculpterra Sunday afternoon showcases have moved outdoors, and the last two have been magical. This week's lineup is packed with great talent, so Cliff is coming out to record it for our new radio show. Join us for wine, art, music! Starts at 1pm, free, all ages OK.

WE'RE A HIT AT THE SPOT! Last Monday's Paul Simon tribute concert drew our biggest crowd yet to The Spot in Arroyo Grande. I predict the Joni Mitchell tribute on Nov. 7 will be our first sell-out. Advance tix are available via The Spot's website, www.thespotag.com, or call them for a reservation at 805-474-5711. Nov. 7 happens to be Joni's birthday, and what a stellar cast to celebrate it: Santa Barbara's Phoebe Light and Karen Thurber, San Francisco's Kay Ashley, Santa Cruz's Regina Bartlett, and local faves Shannon Savage and Chick Tuesday. Host Steve Key kicks it off at 7pm.

Songwriters At Play showcases are held three times per week. No cover charge (except a tip bucket passed for the featured act), all ages OK. Our venues:
