I am in a 5 piece group called Acoustic Highway out of Clovis, CA which is in Fresno county. We play covers as well as original music. My Husband Rick Calhoun and I are thinking about doing some duo work on the side. It would be fun to come check out one of your venues.

Love your Songwriters At Play evenings! Many thanks for hosting such fabulous showcases; each of us in Dave Seawater & Friends had a fabulous time at Senor Sanchos on Monday, 7.June, and at the gorgeous and acoustically yummy Steynberg Gallery on Tuesday. We loved the music shared, and for me, your song 'Old Town' and the way you sang it just brought tears to my eyes. This trip to California has been very bittersweet for me as my mom died last summer in Santa Barbara, and it tears my heart to see some of the changes that have transformed the CA I've loved all my life. You gave voice to so much. Thank you for your song, as well as for providing such lovely venues for us songwriters.
BTW, would you have a copy of a CD with Old Town on it? I would love to hear it again.
With our other band, Aerial Rootz, Karen, Dina Kageler and I played our original slack-key guitar and dulcimer music for a multimedia art event on Saturday up in Volcano, Hawai'i. Had a great time playing on the covered porch until it got so cold and damp that Karen couldn't feel her fingers...
Hope all is well with you, the music is great and that I can buy your CD.

Played the other night with Billy Wallace and the Virginia Blues. Such a surprise to find so much talent in such a small town! Hope this stays around for years! What a great night!
